Don't Miss "A Home for the Holidays"

I want to tell everyone about a very special project that I was involved in that airs tonight. Every year, CBS broadcasts a special to raise awareness about adoption called “A Home for the Holidays.” They asked me to be a part of it this year since I recently adopted my daughter Eloise, and I could not be more honored.

The supremely talented Martina McBride will be hosting the show, and I will be presenting, as will fellow adoptive mom Katherine Heigl. There will also be musical performances by Justin Bieber, Mary J. Blige, Gavin DeGraw and more. The real highlight of the show, however, will be the touching stories you hear about foster care and adoption. So be sure to tune into CBS tonight at 8:00 PM to see me and learn more about this cause that is very near and dear to my heart.

Thank you for letting us know, I love that special and watch it every year. I too adopted a beautiful baby girl and the love one feels to see other family's as happy as ours, I just can't get enough of. See you tonight.

Adoption is a wonderful thing. Those who have adopted has done the best thing a person can possibly do, and I respect them dearly. I will be sure to tune into CBS to watch this fantastic show that will change a lot of lives.

Hello Denise & fans: My husband & I have been trying to adopt a newborn. Our agency is Adoption Network Law Center in Calif. and our consultant is Teri Miller. We refinanced our home but we don't qualify for equity line of credit b/c we've only owned our home a year. We've renovated so much trying to get it ready to start a family. I have a condition called POF (premature ovulation failure) which basically means I haven't got any more eggs to get pregnant. We tried for a personal loan but the interest rates are to high for us to make the payments. We can afford a baby but we can't afford the $43,000 it costs to adopt. I set up an adoption page thru youcaring.com and a paypal acct so people can donate to our cause of adoption awareness & our adoption. I wanted to reach out to as many people as I can to help us reach our goal of being a mommy & daddy. I reached out to Ellen Degeneres & Rosie O'Donnell with my story. PLEASE don't ignore this message. I see how much you LOVE your baby girls & want so much to love a baby, just like you. It just shouldn't be this hard to be a mommy.
