Hot Mama: Physique 57
I’m always raving about Physique 57 on Twitter and wanted to share how I keep fit with this incredible workout regimen.

If you’re wondering what in the world Physique 57 is, it’s a Pilates type of workout with elements of ballet, making it very dynamic and fun to do. But however you describe it, it really works to systematically lengthen and sculpt your muscles, creating a beautiful, lean body. You can choose between more region-specific workouts or full-body routines that will definitely make you sore the next day. I enjoy feeling the burn because it makes me feel accomplished. Another one of the benefits of this system is that it helps increase bone density, which is big plus for women of all ages, shapes and sizes.
They have studios in New York and here in L.A., but if you prefer to exercise in the comfort of your own home then you can also try one of Physique 57’s workout DVDs. Their system is simple and all you’ll really need to follow along with the DVDs is a chair, a yoga mat, a playground ball and some weights.
