Do you make New Year’s resolutions? I’d love to know what everyone’s take is on the tradition. I personally prefer to try and make positive changes year-round whenever I see a need for them, but for a lot of people making New Year’s resolutions is particularly effective—new year, new you.

But New Year’s or not, I definitely find that if you share your goals and aspirations with others you’re more likely to meet them. Share your resolutions in the comments section below and we can all support each other in sticking with them.

If I did have a New Year’s resolution, it would be to stay consistent with my fitness routine. I really dropped the ball this year. No more excuses!

XO, Denise

I have had many injuries in my life and a extremely physical life. My ability to walk was challenge and Im going paralyzed from the neck down. Having recently broken my back in one place and neck in two I fought hard to change my eating habits. I have lost 20 lbs and starting to get my shape back. I learn a few things now and then about eating on this website. it will help me to lose more weight. I have several extensive surgeries coming up Some last up to 6 hours its a long time under anesthesia. I no longer make New years resolution for my battle has already started but I will strive to eat better and better as i go. I gave up red meat pretty much around a year and a half ago. I boil broil and BBQ for the most. My Saturated fats have been shrunken to my vege's size and my veges have grown to the saturated fats size. i drink ACAI berry Juice Green Teas Water Ginseng tea. I garden and landscape for exercise and this year a brand new vege garden. My friend is a geologist and we will be videotaping a mineral called Zealite. Great for gardens Helps get rid of Free radicals hindering your plants. So This year coming I promise nothing but I will be making each step to try and fight to stay up right and moving forward

I am a painter also artists, as well as a writer and say so, my New Year's purposes are twofold: to finish my novel, one of many to conclude-five days in Europe, and two, complete the table starts, pop style,-a lady on the shore of a lake, wrapped in heat umbrella, pulling a French-type dog that will surely take me all year and hopefully earn a few dollars, enough to go skiing trip to the forest and Switzerland next winter ... , Italy or red or maybe canada ..... certainly not looking couple, I cherish my freedom as much as you love breathing, not looking for adventures and have children .... we do not compromise the artists happy new year .... greetings .... again ....

I need help. I gained 30 pounds last year from a medication. I have never had to lose weight in my life, so this is really hard for me. I know how, I just can't seem to get myself to do it. I have the motivation and the desire, but for some reason, I just can't make myself. Any advice, or any pointers would really be appreciated. It is very important for me in this new year, and I need all the help I can get.
